Good to know

Before playing keno, you might benefit from learning about certain notions of the game. These helpful tips and basic rules will give you a sense of what to expect before you get to the casino.

The basic bet

The minimum wager on a Straight Ticket is $2. This wager can be increased in increments of $0.50. Consult the alternative versions to learn more about payoff structure.

The game

For each game, 20 balls are drawn from the 80 numbered balls in the cage. The game consists in selecting one or more of the balls that will be drawn, to a maximum of 12 spots.

All you need to do is pick up a selection slip where the game is played, and fill it out as follows:

  2. Mark the total number of spots played.

  3. Specify the price per game.

  4. Specify the number of games you wish to play.

  5. Specify the total price for the ticket.

  6. If you are a Casino Privilèges club member, please specify your card number on the selection slip.

Keno rules

  1. Make sure your selection is copied correctly as we pay on the computer-generated ticket only. Tickets with errors not corrected before the closing of the game will be read as issued. In case of a discrepancy between the ticket and the data relative to this ticket recorded by the computer, the latter prevails.

  2. Information appearing on keno boards is not official until the entire series of winning numbers has been drawn and confirmed. In the event of a keno board error, only the 20 numbers actually drawn and confirmed will count to calculate payoffs.

  3. If keno Runners are used, the Casino is not responsible for selection slips that arrive too late for the draw in progress. Please prepare your tickets in advance should you wish to use the services of a keno Runner.

  4. Keno winners are paid on computerized tickets only. Winnings must be claimed at the casino where the ticket was purchased.

  5. Winners with a ticket valid for a single game must claim their winnings prior to the closing hour following the draw. Winners with a Multi-Ticket can claim their winnings within 90 days of the last draw date indicated on their ticket.
