Broue and audiences throughout the province of Québec have had one of the most enduring love stories of all time – 39 years without interruption since it was first performed on Wednesday, March 21, 1979.
This theatrical performance has surpassed mere entertainment and comedy -- Broue has broken numerous records and become a source of pride for Quebecers. Discover a colourful cast of characters who form part of our collective imagination, in vignettes set in pre-referendum Québec just as women were set to invade a sacred space – the neighbourhood tavern!
The characters – Bob, Pointu, Verrue, Travolta and more – live on and continue to make audiences laugh as they join these characters in their adventures. You are all cordially invited to come or to come back to Taverne Chez Willy to raise a glass. Ladies are welcome!
