Inaugurated in October 2010, the Casino de Charlevoix's multimedia surroundings contributes to various innovations that enhance the Casino's ambiance, décor, promotions and gaming.
This unique multimedia experience affording visitors a setting in constant change is made up of these distinct components :
- A video wall composed of 27 46" HD screens
- Ten projectors covering over 330 square meters at 360°
- An interactive table with touch screen technology offering 32 contact points
- A chandelier incorporating 1,920 electroluminescent diodes with a vast spectrum of colours
Volcan
In June 2012, a new and innovative gaming concept and a first in North American casinos, named Volcan, was introduced at Casino de Charlevoix. It is the fruit of close and innovative cooperation between different Loto-Québec subsidiaries. With its 28 progressive jackpot slot machines, the outstanding feature of Volcan is its interaction with the Casino's multimedia system, which offers even more playful animation and adds excitement and intensity to the gaming experience.
