La Bottine Souriante is celebrating its 50th anniversary!
Since its formation in the fall of 1976 in the Lanaudière region, La Bottine Souriante has proudly embodied the vitality and richness of Quebec’s musical heritage. To celebrate its 50-year career, the group presents an anniversary show featuring highlights from its impressive repertoire, ranging from classic hits to more recent compositions.
On stage, eleven exceptional artists deliver a performance that is both lively and captivating, blending vocals, traditional instruments, a brass section and foot percussion. Their unparalleled musical and stage chemistry highlights a unique blend of sounds, born from the influence of the group’s distinct Celtic and Acadian roots.
This commemorative show is intended as a tribute to a legendary group, a vibrant symbol of the transmission and celebration of Quebec’s musical heritage.
